Hallo zusammen!

Ich hoffe ihr hattet alle einen schönen 4. Advent!

Ihr habt lange nichts von mir gehört. Und vermutlich werdet ihr das so schnell auch nicht wieder nach diesem Beitrag, dafür entschuldige ich mich jetzt schon mal. Doch aus privaten Gründen werde ich vorerst nicht weiter an TB arbeiten.

Das Team macht aber wirklich einen super Job die Seite belebt und für euch interessant zu halten, daher habe ich kein schlechtes Gefühl dabei, wenn ich nicht da bin.

Zum eigentlichen Thema: Die PHP Version wird demnächst seitens des Providers ein Update bekommen. Das ist ein Problem, da TB fast überall sehr alten Code beinhaltet. Wir sind immerhin schon 10 Jahre online und quasi ein DINO. Nunja, ich arbeite schon länger daran, diese Stellen auszubessern. Doch wenn das PHP Update kommt, werden Fehler nicht ausbleiben, da ich sicher Stellen übersehen oder einfach falsch überarbeitet habe, da ich das alles quasi zwischen Tür und Angel mache. (Immer wenn sich mal 5 Minuten ergeben...) Vielleicht schaffe ich es auch gar nicht rechtzeitig alles zu beheben.

Was ich damit sagen will: Wenn demnächst TB nicht funktioniert, dann liegt es vermutlich am Update und ich werde versuchen so gut und so schnell ich kann TB wieder an den Start zu bringen, bevor ich mich dann wieder auf unbestimmte Zeit aus dem aktiven Dienst zurück ziehe.

You have not heard from me for a long time. And you probably will not do that again soon after this post, so I apologize now. But for personal reasons, I will not continue working on TB for the time being.

The team really does a great job of keeping the site alive and interesting for you, so I do not feel bad about it when I'm not around.

The actual topic: The PHP version will soon get an update from the provider. That's a problem, since TB contains very old code almost everywhere. After all, we have been online for 10 years and we are almost a DINO. Well, I have been working on improving the code for some time. But when the PHP update comes, error will not moste likely show up, because I have overlooked certain problems or simply revised incorrectly, because I do it all, so to speak, between the tide. (Whenever there are 5 minutes ...) Maybe I can not fix everything on time.

What I mean by that: If TB does not work, then it's probably because of the update and I'll try to work hard and as fast as I can to bring TB back online, before I will be gone again for an uncertain timespan.
